This is absurd

Absurd -utterly or obviously senseless, illogical, or untrue; contrary to all reason or common sense; laughably foolish or false.
I find some of the things we "have" to learn in school is really necessary , I find it absurd.

So in the beginning he introduces this character billy that had been in a bad plane crash and was the only one to survive and the daughter thinks he has gone senile but he says he hasn't and he is telling his whole story about what happened from what he remembers from traveling through time in the world war and how he was with these 3 guys and he had no guns or anything to protect them but just them.

1.i like how he would just change the subject right away
2. Didn't really understand why he would change the subject though
3.think it's odd how he finds death funny
4. Cannot really see the irony that he seems to see I'm the death of the tea pot man
5. Like how he explained his life in 3 lines
6.dont understand poo-tee-weet
7. Like how he said it in the beginning and in the end
8. Like how his war book was the first chapter
9. Don't like how short his "war book" was could have gone more into detail
10. Think it's funny how he relates the writing to be written by a pillar of salt

Gastpy chp. 8 review

Gastpy had waited at daisys till 4 in the morning and nothing had happened. Nick says for gastpy to forget about daisy and leave. But gastpy didn't want to leave daisy behind. He told nick that him and daisy made love and it felt like they were married. She promised to wait for him but then she had married Tom. Gastpy wanted a swim so the man didn't drain the pool. Wilson shoots gastpy kills him instantly and then kills himself. Nick hurries back to west egg and finds gastpy floating dead in the pool.

Gastpy chp. 7 review

Gastpy stops throwing parties and fires his workers and hires shady people. Daisy didn't seem that interested in her baby. And gastpy and her cannot hide their love from one another from Tom. They all decide to go to New York. They decide to buy a suite in New York. Tom asked him his intentions with daisy and gastpy responds that she loves him. Not Tom. Tom sends them together away to show that he doesn't care at all. Myrtle was killed in a car crash. He assumes that gastpy had killed her with his car. Gastpy said that daisy was driving the car but he would take the blame. Tom and daisy has settled their differences , then nick left gastpy alone

Gastpy chp. 6 review

Rumors about gastpy circulate throughout New York. Nick had learned the real truth about gastpy. Gastpy gained his wealth because he warned some man named Dan Cody that a storm was coming on his yacht and he then thanked him by giving him a job as his personal assistant. When Cody died he left gastpy with 25,000 dollars but his mistress wouldn't let him take it so he set out to be a wealthy successful man. Gastpy wants daisy to leave Tom so they can be together. Nick says that he cannot recreate the past which upset gastpy. Gastpy belived that his money can buy her pretty much.

Gastpy chp. 5 review

Nick comes home from the city after a date with Jordan. Gastpy scred nick and looked upset. He then invites nick to Coney Island for a swim in his pool. Gastpy was nervous because he wanted nick to ask daisy for tea still. Nick told him that he would help him with his plan. Gastpy was really happy and offers jobs and money but nick was insulted and denied it but still helped him. Gastpy send someone to cut nicks grass. Nick let for 30 min. And then came back and it seemed like they were enjoying themselves unlike the awkwardness earlier gastpy invited them over to look at his possessions and daisy was overwhelmed. He was explaining his love to her. Nick leaves them both together alone.

Gastpy chp. 4 review

Gastpy begins to open up to nick and tells him about his life stories that don't seem very true. Gastpy gets pulled over in the city and he shows the police officer a white card and the police officer apologized and let him go. Nick was introduced to Meyer who was responsible for the 1919 World Series fix. He tells nick that gastpy may be doing organized crime for his money. Gaspy was in love with daisy according to what Jordan told him. Gastpy was very much in love with daisy he only lives in west egg because he wants to be near her. Gastpy wants nick to arrange a tea party and invite daisy but not tell her gastpy is gonna be there and force her to talk to him.

Gastpy chp. 3 review

Gastpy is really famous for all of his parties every weekend which are amazing. Nick was invited to one of his parties which he gladly went to , although he felt out of place. Someone said to him that gastpy killed a man in cold blood. Everyone is obsessed with his possessions like his rolls Royce and his pool and his own beach and other things. Gastpy had served in the war with nick making them spark a conversations. Gastpy does not drink during the party at all. On nicks way home he sees a man with owl eyes crashed down on the side of the rode. He claims he is one of the few honest people he has ever known

Gastpy chp. 2 review

There is a big plain where New York puts its ashes and the workers shovel it for a job. At one point Tom forces nick to get out of the train and walk. He takes him to George Wilson's garage. Tom then takes them to New York City to a apartment. They have a party in the apartment. Tom broke myrtles nose because she wouldn't shut up about daisy and it pretty much ended the party. Which makes nick leave with Mr.Mckee.

Gastpy chp. 1 review

Nick just moved into the town called west egg where the rich live. His house is right next to gastpy's house. Nick has many connections on east egg unlike the other people on west egg that don't really have a sense if communication. When nick sees gastpy for the first time he is on the lawn facing towards the dock with his arms out.
